God of War II IPO biggest on record

Sony Corp's (ADR:SNE) God of War II (PS2), +1.95 DKP (+1.37%), debuted on the simExchange on Monday, January 29, 2007 with the biggest IPO on record. 433,189 shares were subscribed at 135 DKP a share for 58.48 million DKP, topping the previous record held by Mario Galaxy (Wii), which debuted on December 11, 2006 with a 27.4 million DKP IPO. God of War II (PS2) closed up 5.56% yesterday to 142.50 DKP (forecasts 1.425 million copies sold worldwide over lifetime). The game is the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War that was released in 2005. God of War II is scheduled for release on March 13, 2007.
