You can also use various Logitech USB racing wheels, including the new G25.
The game features 11 real life teams, 22 drivers from the 2006 F1 season, and 18 real world tracks. The game differs from previous F1 games by providing driving assists for newbies, while including the depth that gearheads love. Difficulty is also adjustable. The game features dynamic weather conditions and a pitstop minigame. Online play features 11 player multiplayer with 11 additional AI controlled cars.
There are several modes of play including quick play and season. Career mode allows you to assume the role of a starting racer who must complete time trials to be recruited onto a team. Once on a team, you move up the ranks by winning races. You even have an agent who will get you offers from other teams. There is also another career mode where you take the role of the driver’s chief engineer.
