Pokemon Battle Revolution is the next installment of the Pokemon Stadium games for the home console and the first for the Wii. For those new to the series, Pokemon Battle Revolution will have you playing as a human trainer with a collection of Pokemon. You unleash two of your Pokemon at a time to battle your opponent’s Pokemon until one trainer is out of Pokemon.
The game features 10 different arenas, each with their own game play characteristics and destructive environments. You can fully customize the look of your trainer (the human character who collects Pokemon) to personalize your character for online play.
Pokemon Battle Revolution works with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl (DS). You can upload the Pokemon you collect from the DS game to be used in the Wii game. The game can be played either with the Wii-mote or with the DS. If using the DS as a controller, you will have extra information available throughout the battle on you DS screens. If using the Wii-mote as the controller, all information will be displayed on the TV screen. The Wii-mote is used as a poiting device to select different Pokemon attacks.
The game is notable as the first Wii game to feature online play using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Pokemon Battle Revolution was released on December 14, 2006 in Japan and is scheduled to be released on June 25, 2007 in North America. The game listing was submitted by Jaded_Alyx.
