Dungeons & Dragons Tactics is a new turn-based strategy game for the PSP. The game uses the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Edition Rules. The player controls a party of characters and engages in turn-based tile combat. Characters can be created from a number of pre-set classes such as the Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Psion, Psychic Warrior, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard or the player can create custom classes or choose pre-designed characters from the "character library."

There is a single-player campaign where the player’s characters are in the middle of an epic war between two dragons. You can choose whether to advance the story as a good or evil character. There is also multiplayer gameplay where players can pit their characters against each other in deathmatch and a number of other modes. You will also be able to trade characters and items with friends over Wi-Fi.
