The Wii version of last year's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 features specially designed for Wii controls. For the first time, you can no longer rely on your golfer’s in-game stats because your swing of the Wiimote will determine how well you hit. For added realism, the game will detect how you open the face of your "club" to determine draw or fade in your swing. Fortunately, you can take practice swings before hitting the ball for "real." Though the game isn’t without videogame factors--you can improve the spin of the ball by shaking the Wiimote while pressing a direction on the D-pad.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 features 35 golfers and 18 different courses, including real PGA locations and fantasy places. There are over 3000 items that can be acquired from the Pro Shop to customize your golfer. The game features same console multiplayer for four players but no online multiplayer. Like previous games, there are several modes to play, including six new modes. The game also features 480p widescreen graphics.
