NBA Street: Homecourt is the fourth installment in the NBA Street series of street basketball games, 3-on-3 street basketball in which players can perform huge dunks and egregious fouls, similar to NBA Jam. The story is about earning the respect of your ‘hood by beating NBA players in the hometown.
New to the game are using your teammates to boost you to the basket. You can also perform double and triple dunks where your player dunks, catches the ball, and dunks again. Moves and dunks fill up your gamebreak meter, which when full, gives you a limited time to perform a truly awesome play that scores even more points.
The career mode, called Homecourt Challenge, lets players create a character by merging the heads of two NBA players. You then hit the local courts to recruit team members and start challenging other local teams. Eventually you will be able to recruit NBA players. Games will vary in their objective, such as the first to 21 points or the first to lead by 3 points.
