Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the sequel to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Gamecube)
and is the final game of the Metroid Prime trilogy. This Wii exclusive uses the
Wii's motion sensing remote to enhance console gameplay. Players can now aim Samus' gun by pointing with the remote, much like how players point a cursor with a mouse. To launch and pull objects with the grabble beam, players simply jab the nunchuck forward and then pull back.

In a departure from past Metroid Prime games, beams are no longer interchangeable. Instead there is a new stackable beams system. There are new visors including an X-Ray vision that pairs with a new beam that goes through walls. There is another visor for remotely controlling Samus' gunship.

According to Retro Studios, the new Wii controls will make the game less difficult to play and faster paced than previous Metroid Prime games.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be released on August 27.
