"Ninja Gaiden Sigma" marks the first appearance of the highly acclaimed and notoriously difficult Ninja Gaiden series on the PS3. New additions for this version include 3 new chapters, new weapons and enemies, a major update of graphics and textures, and the ability to play portions of the game as a new playable character (Rachel).

The plot is centered on a ninja named Ryu Hayabusa and his quest to retrieve the Dark Dragon Blade which was stolen from the Hayabusa clan.

Sigma is the third version of this title which first appeared in the US on the Xbox in Mar 2004 as "Ninja Gaiden" and then again in Sep 2005 in a further upgraded version called "Ninja Gaiden Black"

No definite release date has been set but this title is expected to be released in summer or fall of 2007.
