In an recent interview, Will Wright announced that he is working on Spore for the Wii. No expected release date is given, but the interface shown for the PC version would work nicely with the pointer functions of the Wii-remote and the WiiConnect24 service would also work with the PC version's passive system of sharing user-created content.
