Halo 3 is the third game and conclusion to the Halo Trilogy for the story line that began in Halo: Combat Evolved (Xbox). Halo 3 picks up where Halo 2 left off--the Master Chief is returning to Earth, Cortana is a prisoner of the Gravemind, and the Covenant is in civil war. Unlike in Halo 2, the player does not play as the Arbiter, but will team up with him in missions.

The game features several new weapons and vehicles but also a new class of equipment that includes bubble shields and anti-gravity platforms that can launch you in the air.
