In this episode of the Castlevania series, the player takes the role of two characters, Jonathan Morris, a vampire hunter, and Charlotte Aulin, a witch. The game takes place in 1944 World War II Europe. The player must stop Brauner, a vampire artist, from resurrecting Dracula.
This is a side-scrolling adventure game where the player plays both characters and can switch between them at will. You can combine their abilities to perform more powerful attacks or bypass areas where the abilities of a single character are not enough. The game can be played in multiplayer co-op and also versus mode.
